Pediatric Services

The pediatric clinic functions as a vital part of the department’s mission. It offers opportunities for advanced clinical training and research by providing clinical services at our speech and hearing clinic. The clinic provides comprehensive diagnostics and treatment for children with speech, language, voice, feeding, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our team of certified speech-language pathologists offers evaluations, individualized therapy plans, and early intervention programs to support communication development. 

At the LSU Speech-Language Hearing Clinic, we provide services for the following communication issues:

Speech Sound Disorders

Apraxia

Language Delay or Disorders

Fluency Disorders

Voice & Resonance Disorders including Cleft/VPI

Feeding & Swallowing Disorders

Alternative/Augmentative Communication (AAC)

Aural Rehabilitation for the Hearing Impaired

Teletherapy sessions available as warranted
